The coast of Newfoundland is littered with small fishing settlements. Here, the moon shines in a starry sky. It's casts light on the harbor of a sleepy village.
I wanted to do something unique with the harbor's water in the piece. I drew long, overlapping ellipses in various colors to represent the harbor's gentle waves under the moonlight.
